SERVO COUPLINGS

Servo couplings, a subset of shaft couplings, offers a backlash free connection and torque transmission between two shafts while also absorbing small alignment deviations between the shafts. To fit for precise and high dynamic drives, a servo coupling must offer a good combination of torsional stiffness and low moment of inertia. 

We offer three main types of servo couplings:

Metal bellow couplings

Metal bellows couplings ensure zero-backlash torque transmission with exceptional torsional stiffness and a low moment of inertia. Their design and EASY-clamping hubs allow for quick and secure lateral installation. These couplings are ideal for high-speed and high-precision environments.

Elastomer couplings

Elastomer couplings are flexible shaft couplings for small to medium torque applications. The preloaded elastomer spider serves as both connection and compensation element with high shore hardness. The special properties of elastomer couplings are oscillation dampening, electric insulation between the shafts and that they are easy to assemble as the hubs and spider are easily separable.

Miniature couplings

Miniature couplings are optimized for compact drive systems such as stepper motors, encoders, and linear units. The miniature couplings are of metal bellow type which support high operating temperatures and deliver precise performance in space-constrained applications.
